StudioAG‘s efforts to bring together a balanced and competitive Consortium paid off yesterday when we had official confirmation that the Horizon 2020 Project “YAKSHA” had been funded. The YAKSHA proposal was submitted in response to the ICT39-2017 H2020 call, ended April 25 2017, a cooperation call specifically targeted towards the ASEAN region. The project aims at building a long-lasting partnership between the two regions in the cybersecurity domain. Thanks to the efforts of all the partners, our proposal was the first out of 71 evaluated, obtaining a score of 14.5 points out of a possible 15.
YAKSHA is a distributed system which allows the automated deployment of honeypots, data collection and analysis as well as reporting and information sharing with affiliated YAKSHA installations. The modular and distributed nature of YAKSHA allows it to cater for both opportunistic and continuous sample collection, and selective information sharing with other entities when deemed necessary. YAKSHA will therefore enable organisations, companies and government agencies to upload custom honeypots that meet their own specifications, monitor attacks in real time and analyse them.
